Little Blue Heron in Courtenay: second record for British Columbia

Abstract: An immature Little Blue Heron (Egretta caerula) was seen at Courtenay, B.C. on 19 September 1993. This is the second record for B.C. and the first for Vancouver Island. Other records in the Pacific Northwest are discussed.
