Abstract: In 2016 the British Columbia Bird Records Committee reached decisions on 45 records. Of these records, 35 were accepted to the Main List, one was accepted to the Provisional List, and nine were not accepted (eight due to identific­ation not being established, and one based on unknown origin). Seven additions were made to the Main List. Records sub­mitted involved birds seen between 1997 and 2016.
